Jason Bonham on his childhood Posted by: music3874
Video duration: 288 seconds Global video hits: 189951 Jason Bonham, son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, recounts his childhood. This is from UFO's Showtime DVD, which I highly recommend. The DVD contains lots of interviews on the band's history, a full UFO concert, as well as a special studio performance. The original format is letterbox, so this image is squished. @knowthetruth1492 Those two people are VERY different from Carver and from each other. MLK and Newton may have worked to benefit African Americans, Carver's work benefited the whole world!

@turtle4aire when the founding fathers created america they had a blank slate to write. they could have made themselves kings but they didnt. they created a country to rid themselves from the corruption that other countries had (tyrrant kings, religion and other forms of oppression). most ppl now forgot about why america was founded, even neil got that one wrong lol. the constitution was made for those reasons, free speech, guns, right to own property

@pontecanis that's why it's the theory of instead of the law of. Laws have to apply to every case, theories don't even have to be consistent or accurate.

what would a king need to control his kingdom? a book.... religious freedom
By: Bromopar. on 07 Jun 10, 19:27:09
@turtle4aire There were plenty of textbooks other than the Bible around at that time. In fact the first schools in America taught other subjects other than the Bible which was removed once the Constitution was ratified. By the end of the 1800's when America established itself as a superpower (the sailing of the great white fleet for example) the Bible had been out of classrooms for nearly 100 years. Seems to me we did great once the Bible was no longer accepted as science.

I have a problem tring to take a issue with this fellow, but thing that I do take issue with is, In America first years the Holy Bible was the only text book they had and it was the text used to teach all. Then in about 1800 we started other text books. By 1800 we had become the most powerful nation in the world. Then from that time on we started down hill as being the great nation as we was with The Bible as the Text book we was the greatest, then all went down hill when we stopped using it.

Like the guy, smart and funny. I don't know how many of you have read books on spirituality (Kahuna, Tolle, just to name a few), but the Bible shouldn't be taken in "first degree". Think of it as a metaphore. Those who align their lives to a book are scary... and damn stupid... sheep. Woof!
By: Swetlana0. on 05 Jun 10, 06:25:46
This guy alone with Carl Sagan inspired me to do astrophysics. R.I.P Carl Sagan.

@masala505 It is only in conflict when we are looking at either science or scripture in the wrong light or with the wrong understanding. Again, the scriptures weren't written to be science or history books. They were a way to teach us about our relationship to Deity through the use of moral teaching and allegory/symbolism that the ancients would have been able to understand.
By: masala505. on 04 Jun 10, 09:53:47
@StorminMormin91 What on earth is true scripture? Biblical scripture is certainly in conflict with science.
