@hickock45 Which gun do you prefer for pocket carry between a Ruger LCP and a J Frame revolver (38 special)? I'm leaning towards the J frame due to its better stopping power and reliability, but I like the Ruger LCP's concealability, I prefer semi-automatics, it holds 2 extra rounds of ammo and reloading is easier. What should I buy?

I went to the Gun Shop yesterday. My father and I were looking at getting pocket pistols and didnt have alot of money. We held several guns from the NAA, Kel Tec, Bersa, and this gun. Well the NAA was WAY too expensive for what it was, and my dad;s hands were WAY too bug for all but the Bersa, which he got. But I was blessed with average size hands...maybe a bit bigger....however when I held this gun I fell in love. I just have to have one! 92 days till my Bday! And I want this gun!

Thanks...I'm getting one. Would like the Kahr, but can't justify the extra expense. The Ruger seems a bit better than the KelTec IMHO.

Have you had any trouble with the lcp? I purchased mine three weeks ago and have fired a couple different boxes of ammo...The gun has started stove piping soon after the second box of ammo was used...The malfunction only happens when the last round is fired.. What do you think I should do?

I've noticed that you've done videos on both the LCP and Kahr 380. Any preference between the two? Seems like the Kahr's lower and bigger/heavier slide might make for less muzzle flip.

Hickock45, I know it's a laughable cartridge, but I'd love to see a review of a Baby Browning if you have access to one :-). I have one that is very accurate and I firmly believe that with quality ammunition and with me doing my job it's a perfectly acceptable last ditch BUG.

@cabdolla unless u shoot them in the fingers with all rounds and they only have 3 of their ten fingers left, it should be enough, but even a big gun like a 45 does not stop people like you see in the movies, its a rather un-remarkable thing when someone gets shot, particularly with any handgun. rifles and shotguns however are a differrent story. a .223 (m16 round) has 3 times the stopping power of a .45 caliber pistol round (big pistol round, bigger than the big one in this vid)

LCP is really nice, but i went with the taurus TCP. Same size pretty much, but what i like about the TCP is the slide stays back after ur mag is empty.

I worry about the Magazine release as a concealed carry weapon. It seems too easy to trip whether in hand or in the pocket. Any opinion on this?

Another Great Video Sir.Its nice to see someone on YouTube that can actually Shoot a Firearm! I agree,I never thought I would buy this weapon or own a 380acp for a secondary,but Winchester SXT and the Buffalo Bore pack a pretty strong punch.380acp has come a long way.God Bless Texas!
