God says several times how we dont think like He does Isaiah 55:8-11, 1 Samuel 16:6-8, Psalm is full of David asking to be taught the ways of the Lord and thats a guy that God says is after His heart, look at all the different ways Jesus healed people. @voiceofelijah2012 A man that is not born again doesn't have the Holy spirit and cannot repent. Judas did not want and was not able to repent because he was never born again. Salvation is all of God and once He adopts you into His family salvation is sealed and it is irrevocable. You are justified which is a legal act and God declares you innocent based on Christs payment for your sin. and Christs righteousness which is imputed to your account. You cannot lose your salvation

I appresciate your opinion, but I know for a FACT that there are peopel on both camps who love Jesus with all of their hearts, I am not fully persuaded with Calvinism, However I am not fully persuaded with Arminianism either. Both theological stand points have very valid biblical views. Im my opinion it comes down to God's foreknowledge, Who He foreknew, he predestined...see Rom 8. Judas was CHOSEN by Christ, Judas had the chance to repent, he did not and died a sinners death and dwells in a sinners hell. One can lose their reward, Paul discusses this in detail, if we take out eyes off the cross, we can lose our salvation, but it will be because we chose to walk away. Demas, one of Paul's own preachers walked away from the faith. So we can walk away from our reward. Run the race!

@SRobacker What Paul was talking about is simple, man was destined for salvation by the cross, God predestined one way to be saved and that was thru the cross. That is the predestinated plan Paul talked about. He was not meaning some are chosen while others are rejected, the word says that ANYONE can freely come to God, he will reject no one, the point is, man is wicked, his heart is evil and he loves darkness rather than light, so this makes it hard for him to know the plan God has for him.

I'm not a Calvinist but predestination is biblical and stated in Paul's letters. He actually uses the word and talks about how we are chosen "before the foundation of the world" for say to be holy and blameless or something like that. (see Ephesians 1) other places also. Certainly, Christ makes us in him as perfect before God, but thinking that we are no longer with imperfection of our old flesh nature is to descend into religious thinking. One day that also will be gone. 1 John 3:2, 1 Cor 15

I believe that God does that when were looking for Him I really don,t doubt it but when people go up week after week . Some christians just ain,t happy with the Word of God because they think all they have to do is go up front.I believe there is always a first time annointing I couldnt get off the floor for an hour but I didn,t get deliverd from drugs. I would like to note to you also, I was a drug addict, I went to a church service, I went b/c my mom talked me into it. I went up for prayer, I wanted to give my life for Jesus, I was so bound and I couldnt get free, well the preacher laid hands on me, I fell out, and trust me I had no idea what hit me, it was like a bolt of lightning. When I got up off the floor I was totaly delivered from meth, weed, cocain and much more instantly.

With all Respect Read over what you wrote me and see if your putting precept upon precept, a line here ,a line there here a little, there a little rightly dividing the truth. You use the word suppose witch means to assume(used by sinners outside) Being drunk in the bible is never goood( it always brings wrath) And thrist is a spiritual thirst for Jesus. And as for the falling it was for fear for the Lord and some did fall from the preasence of the Lord,but not from another man touching them

Thanks Shane.I think the Toking is the thing the devil is using to put people of the genuine baptism in the Holy Ghost.Iam Holy Ghost through and through,true baptsim lifts up Jesus and is not blasphemous.Sometimes the counterfeit and the genuine look similar in this case the deception is obvious.

encounter God, they would fall out, on their face, lie prostrate. This is seen in the Old testament, all the way into the new, Look at Johns Gospel, when they came to arrest Jesus and take Him away, he simply said I AM, and they all fell backwards! Honestly though, there is a Godly sobriety that we need also. Truly Jesus spent more time getting people up then knocking them down!

My pint to convey in this message is that dangers in applying in "action" profane methods to describe the Holy Spirit. Another verse of scripture teaches us, be not filled with wine in excess, but be filled with the Spirit. Jesus taught us, if any man thirst come and let him drink... Acts chapter 2-3 will be the foundational scripture for justifying being drunk in the spirit, Peter stood up and said these are not drunk as you supose (in other words people thought they were drunk on alcohole) but they are filled with the Holy Ghost.

I don't understand where you say toking the spirit is wrong and where drunk in the spirit is right I just left a church that does falling in the spirit, drunk in the spirit, holy laughter. with all respect I would like to know the scriptures you go by. Jesus wasnt passive when He was clearing the temple in John 2:13-25. He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple. He overturned tables. His own disciples were reminded that it is written: "Zeal for your house will consume me." I really dont think that was a calm event. Jesus didnt comprimise the truth. I am going to make a video on Drunk in the Spirit and Sober in the Spirit. We make a mistake sometimes and think Godly sobriety is being uptight and religous. I will show that godly sobriety is just as supernatural as being drunk in the Spirit. BTW, I am a firm believer in both!

The 1st time I saw it, I wasn't against it. It was through time that I began to feel the check of the Holy Spirit and the clear Word of God. I hate that we can't use druken glory because it is related to stuff that has become unholy. I love to be drunk in the Spirit, But I also enjoy total sobriety of the Spirit (wow thats a teaching in itself). Both are supernatural states and are biblical.
